Rwandan musician and YouTuber Yago Pon Dat has confirmed that he has officially filed a complaint with the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB), requesting a full investigation into individuals he claims were involved in an alleged plot to harm him.
Yago made the claims while speaking about a series of events he says forced him to relocate to Uganda, where he has reportedly lived for the past two years due to security concerns.
According to Yago, he received information from alleged witnesses suggesting that certain individuals allegedly coordinated plans to attack him, including paying money to people who were reportedly instructed to stone his home and even attempt to poison his household staff.
He further stated that one of the key sources of information was a witness identified as Izabayo Rabani, who allegedly confessed to being part of a group that received money connected to the alleged plot.
In his complaint, Yago reportedly named several individuals, including Uzabakiriho Cyprien known as Djihad, Fatakumavuta, and Dj Brianne, requesting RIB to investigate their possible involvement.
Yago said he decided to involve authorities after receiving what he describes as credible threats, adding that his priority is not to accuse anyone without evidence but to allow investigators to establish the truth.
“I reported the case to RIB and requested a thorough investigation into the individuals mentioned in the alleged plan,” he said, adding that the complaint had already been submitted about a week ago.
He also claimed that his time in Uganda was motivated by fear for his safety after learning about the alleged threats against his life.
Meanwhile, Dj Brianne has publicly denied all allegations, stating that there is no connection between her and Yago and questioning why she continues to be linked to his personal disputes.

At the moment, RIB has not yet issued an official statement confirming whether an investigation has begun or whether any individuals have been summoned.
