Rwandan singer Chriss Eazy has revealed that he was pleasantly surprised to discover that fellow artist Utah Nice possesses advanced video editing skills and is capable of editing her own music videos.
Speaking to IGIHE during the promotion of their newly released collaboration, “My Mind”, Chriss Eazy praised Utah Nice’s abilities behind the camera.“I thought I was the only artist in Rwanda who edits his own music videos, but I found out that she does her own editing as well. That was something that really impressed me,” he said.
Although Utah Nice receives support from her siblings, Isimbi Nailla and Cedric Dric, who are known for their expertise in filming and editing music videos, she confirmed that she also has the skills to edit videos herself.

Meanwhile, Utah Nice, who is emerging as one of Rwanda’s most promising young music talents, revealed that collaborating with Chriss Eazy on “My Mind” had long been one of her dreams.
The singer, who began her music career in 2023 after graduating from the Rwanda School of Music, said she had always admired Chriss Eazy’s work, particularly songs such as “Faster” and “Amashu.”It was one of my dreams. When I started singing, he was one of the artists I admired. Apart from being a well-established musician, he truly understands his craft. I’m grateful that, eventually, it became a reality,” she said
Utah Nice also shared that she had initially perceived Chriss Eazy as a very quiet and reserved person. However, after spending time with him while working on their project, she discovered that he actually has a great sense of humour and enjoys making people laugh.The two artists recently teamed up for their new single, “My Mind”, which continues to attract attention from music fans across Rwanda.
