This new model stands out from Ferrari’s previous vehicles as it is the company’s first car to feature five seats. It was developed in collaboration with LoveFrom, a design firm founded by Jony Ive, the former Chief Design Officer at Apple.

Other luxury car manufacturers such as Lamborghini and Porsche have not invested heavily in fully electric supercars, largely because the market has not expanded as quickly as expected. In addition, these brands are facing growing competition from Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers offering more affordable alternatives.
The Ferrari Luce is powered by electric motors integrated into each wheel, delivering remarkable performance. When accelerating, the vehicle can go from 0 to 96 kilometres per hour in just 2.5 seconds, significantly faster than most conventional cars, which typically take between 8 and 10 seconds to reach the same speed.

Ferrari stated that every component of the vehicle is manufactured in-house to ensure the car can continue to be serviced and maintained by the company for many years to come. This approach is also expected to help preserve the vehicle’s value on the resale market.
