Dancer Sherrie Silver has denied claims that she will be performing for APR FC fans, saying that her photo was used without her consent. However, she confirmed that children from the Sherrie Silver Foundation will perform at the event.
Through her social media pages, Sherrie Silver stated that she will not be entertaining APR FC fans during the event known as Inkera y’Imihigo, adding that the next time she performs in Kigali will be during “The Silver Gala Night.”

She said:”There is false information circulating on social media claiming that I will perform at Amahoro Stadium this weekend—this is not true. The next time I perform in Kigali will be at ‘The Silver Gala’ and at no other time, unless I announce it myself.”
Although Sherrie Silver denied performing at APR FC’s Inkera y’Abahizi celebration, she told IGIHE that children from the Sherrie Silver Foundation will be part of the entertainment.She explained:
“The children will perform, but the mistake was that my photo was used without me giving them permission.”APR FC is expected to host this event to kick off the new sports season, which will also feature a match against Power Dynamos from Zambia. The game will take place at Amahoro Stadium on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

On August 15, 2025, she denied claims that she would be performing for APR FC fans during the Inkera y’Abahizi event, clarifying that it will be children from her Foundation who will dance, but she herself will not be present.
