Family members of late gospel star Gogo Gloriose break down in tears as they bid their final farewell during her burial ceremony in Rwanda.

Rwandan musician Gogo Gloriose’s untimely death has left her family, friends, and fans devastated.

The singer’s family had released her postmortem results after rumors surfaced that she had been poisoned.Gogo had traveled to Uganda for ministry when she tragically passed away, and her body was later transported back to Rwanda.

Gogo Laid to Rest in Rwanda

Rwandan gospel singer Gogo Gloriose has been laid to rest in her home country.

She died on September 4 while receiving treatment at a hospital in Kampala. Doctors rushed her there after she suffered seizure attacks.According to her manager, Fik, Gogo had epilepsy. He admitted they kept it private because they feared she would face discrimination.

Fik added that in the days leading up to her death, Gogo experienced more frequent seizures than before, when they only happened occasionally.

Friends and Family Pay Tribute

Earlier, Gogo’s close friend Bruno had appealed to the public for financial support to help the family give her a proper burial.

“We need funds to bring her back home. Gogo didn’t come to Uganda for a show—she was ministering in church. I’m also asking the churches where she ministered to step in, because she has a hospital bill. We need to get her a coffin and transfer her from Uganda to Rwanda. She was a celebrity, and she deserves a dignified send-off,” Bruno said.

Heartbreaking videos from Gogo’s funeral have since surfaced, leaving many Kenyans on social media emotional.In one clip, her aunts who bore a striking resemblance to the late singer—were seen in tears.

Some fans wondered if she had parents, but sadly, both her parents and two siblings were killed during the Rwandan genocide.

Bruno was also seen carrying Gogo’s casket before it was lowered into the ground.
